  1. One of the better moments of my 2021 year occurred when I randomly called Dr. David Marcinko on a Friday evening after noticing his phone number while discovering the vast amounts of literature he published on medicine and finance. While looking for and researching information on the financial organization and finance transaction procedures within the health care industry, I decided to call Dr. Marcinko with the expectation of connecting to a voice message, disconnected line, wrong number or to be brushed off considering a perfect stranger was calling. Dr. Marcinko answered the phone and I began introducing myself as I explained my purpose for calling with the subconscious feeling of being surprised of the thought he had time or was willing to speak with me. After a three hour conversation, I would not have thought a random phone call to a very prominent and distinguished person as Dr. Marcinko, would provide an encouraging sense of optimism towards the future challenges that lay ahead.
