  3. UPDATE 2021
    What is Wealthy?
Baby Boomers (ages 56 to 74): $2.5 million

The definition of wealthy is a net worth of $2.5 million among Baby Boomers, which includes anyone born between 1946 and 1964.

This is still a long way off the amount needed to be part of America’s wealthiest 1% though, as that only applies to those with a net worth of $4.4 million or more, according to the Knight Frank Wealth Sizing Model.
