  1. Observed Mortality of COVID-19 Patients by US Region

    A recent study of 14,226 patients with COVID-19 at 117 US hospitals found:

    • Midwest: 18.4% mortality rate
    • Northeast: 22.4% mortality rate
    • South: 14.4% mortality rate
    • West: 16.1% mortality rate
