As a physician-focused financial advisor, I know that for those medical professionals between the ages of 45 to 54, the thought of retirement should be popping up a few times these days.
And, for doctors between ages 55 and 64, the thought may be taking on urgent tones about now!
In fact, many of us are reconciling to the idea that it may be a fact that we have to either postpone our retirements or live a much simpler life during retirement. Whatever the thoughts may be, what’s driving them is our preparedness to retire.
And so, we’d appreciate your vote and comments, too!

And, the vast majority of respondents to a Wells Fargo survey admitted they needed help figuring out how much money to live on in retirement and picking investments for their 401(k)s.
But, in a negative twist for financial advisers, more than two-thirds said they were not willing to pay for this advice.

Mayo clinic study shows physician burnout at new Fahrenheit
Nearly half of the 7,288 physician participants (45.8 percent) exhibited at least one symptom of burnout, a Mayo Clinic study found. Specifics draw the line darker still — 37.9 percent of doctors cited extreme emotional exhaustion, while 29.4 percent reported experiencing a sense of “high depersonalization,” which is, according to the Mayo Clinic, the sensation of watching oneself from afar, significantly displaced from present reality and self.
