    Many economists are no longer debating whether we’ll have a recession because of the coronavirus … the questions now are 1) how bad will the recession be and 2) how quickly can we recover.

  2. $1,335.9 Million is the Mean R&D Investment Needed to Bring a Drug to Market

    JAMA recently released a study on the research and development investment need to bring a new drug to market. Here are some key findings from the report:

    • The median research and development investment to bring a drug to market was $985.3 million.
    • The mean investment to bring a new drug to market was was estimated at $1335.9 million.
    • For nervous system agents, the median investment estimate was $765.9 million.
    • The median investment was $2771.6 million for antineoplastic and immunomodulating agents.
