One Response

  1. What Are You Going To Do
    [IBNR Claims]

In the ever changing health care landscape, Incurred But Not Reported (IBNR) claims are another indirect result and unintended consequence of modern prospective health care payment system. However, consequences can be both good and bad.

As usual, what happens to us is often not as important as how we response to things that happens. With IBNR claims we can wait for things to happen, make things happen, and they will be a few wondering what the hell happened! What category do you want to be in?

I think our abilities to overcome potential obstacles can be enhanced with situational management skills, gaping the IBNR claims rules and regulations, awareness of potential problems and potential solutions, and effective execution of accepted methods of of estimating IBNR claims.
