The Effect of Taxing America’s Wealthy

The wealth difference between states demonstrates that certain states had much stronger increases in affluent taxpayers.

For example, Warren Buffett recently called to raise tax rates on taxpayers making more than $1 million and proposed an additional increase on taxpayers whose income exceeds $10 million.

So, where do the “super-rich live and what would it look like if they were given additional taxes?”

  1. Which doctors earn the highest salaries?

    Primary care physicians trailed their specialist counterparts according to a new survey that looked at salary, bonuses and profit-sharing to determine who makes the most money.

    As a group, doctors are not happy with their pay. Less than half (47 percent) of primary care physicians and only half of specialists believe they are fairly compensated. Those who feel most underpaid are ophthalmologists, allergists and general surgeons. The doctors most satisfied with their pay are dermatologists, emergency medicine physicians and pathologists.
