A Unique Summer Long and Fourth of July Celebration Warning
[By Muhammad Saleem]
Did you know that recent reports show that nearly half of all Americans admitted to contributing to an unhealthy pool environment while even more are simply ignorant of the risks?
The Statistics
While, it is disgusting, it seems that 17% of adults admit to urinating in public pools.
So, during this Fourth of July Holiday, please take a minute to learn how to protect yourself and others this weekend, and summer.
More Yucky Info
20%, or 1 in 5 people pee in the pool.
Yep, that which we’ve always known to be true – because everybody secretly does it – has now been confirmed. People pee in the pool. One-in-five respondents to a survey by the Water Quality and Health Council admitted to contributing to the myriad disgusting contaminants already backstroking happily around the average pool.
Also, seven in 10 people don’t bother showering before diving in. Their sweat, sunscreen, dead skin, and other filth combines with chlorine to give you the red eyes and rashes you enjoy so much.
So next time someone goes all quiet while they’re kicking back in your pool, you might want to direct them to a bathroom.
Assessment
Have you ever urinated in a swimming pool or public place … be honest? If so, how did you feel?

We don’t swim in your toilet, so….
One in five Americans has admitted to peeing in a public swimming pool, according to a recent survey. That’s 20 percent of Americans urinating where others swim.
Besides being disgusting, peeing in the pool may be seriously harmful to your health.
