  1. Tacky … Tacky

I just wanted to let you know that I consider the above post on oral sex in extremely poor taste. It is not in keeping with the high quality that I’ve come to know and respect from the ME-P.

I trust this faux-pas is an exception to that standard of conduct.

  2. Publisher’s Note

Occasionally, the ME-P will depart from our core mission of providing medical practice management and administrative information, integrated with personal financial planning and health economics, for all medical professionals.

And, we will continue to do so, from-time-to-time, in the future.

This exception occurred with the above post when we ventured into the clinical arena from a reliable source. It was done as a public service and we understand that it may not be palatable to all readers.

Nevertheless, it is an important and relevant issue.

  3. More Teens Using Birth Control When They First Have Sex – CDC

Relative to the above post, and comment by Sheila!

Did you know that US teens haven’t altered their sexual behavior much in the past several years, with rates of sexual activity and contraceptive use little changed between 2002 and 2006-2010, new stats from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention show?

  6. Sex at Work

Business Insider recently conducted a survey of 2,500 professionals asking about sex at work, and it turns out people think about sex at work a lot.

About 85 percent think people at the same company should be able to sleep together, and 93 percent think that there’s no obligation to report to HR if they’re schtupping their coworkers (Everyone hates HR).

Ninety percent reported being sexually attracted to a colleague (and, we suspect, 10 percent are lying about that), while 64 percent reported hitting on a colleague at one point, and 80 percent report being hit on.

Finally, 54 percent have had sex with a coworker.
