  1. Great Britain

    The U.K. just became the 11th EU member nation to enter into recession, according to data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS).

    Last week, ONS revealed that GDP growth for the U.K. was negative for two consecutive quarters putting the economy technically back into recession. GDP remains 4.3 percent below its first quarter of 2008 peak.
