According to SoftwareAdvice.com, Apple is the hottest topic in the tech blogosphere these days. Even if you ignore all news of the “iSlate,” and the new tablet PC, dozens of rumors abound.

Head Tracking Technology

One interesting idea is a patent for 3-Dimensional head-tracking. Instead of using a mouse and keyboard, Mac users simply move their head or body to control an image on screen. Some think this technology would perfect for healthcare.

  2. Hi Rose,

I can see sharing a love/hate relationship with this gadget and digital memory because of how prices are always falling.

For example, I absolutely hate buying SDs for my R4 / R4i at (what seems to be) a bargain price only to see it become a whole lot cheaper a couple of months later.

  3. Why the iPad Will Not Be Used for Healthcare IT

Ann, with the much-hyped release of the iPad, Apple has their sights set on the Amazon Kindle’s market share; and I’m sure they will do well.

However, some health care IT industry heavyweights have gone so far as to suggest that the iPad will be greatly utilized in the healthcare setting and revolutionize the way we do business.

Yet, others think not. What are your thoughts?

  4. Concerning the iPad

Overwhelmingly strong iPad sales in the U.S. have prompted Apple to delay the product’s introduction in foreign markets, but that hasn’t stopped health IT reporters in other countries from licking their chops, too.

  5. Will Cius Challenge the Apple iPad in Healthcare?

Some folks and doctors alike thought the iPhone was going to shake up mobile healthcare until Google’s Android operating system came along.

The same could now happen for larger devices, too. Though Apple has sold more than 3 million units of the iPad in just three months, and the tablet-like computer has been widely hailed for its potential in healthcare, it’s got some new, Android-powered competition: Enter Intel’s Cius.
