2,734 Medicare Advantage Plans Will Be Available in 2019
Kaiser Family Foundation recently released an analysis on Medicare Advantage plans in 2019. Here are some key findings from the report:
• 2,734 Medicare Advantage plans will be available for individual enrollment in 2019.
• The average beneficiary will be able to choose among 24 plans in 2019.
• 14 insurers will enter the MA market for the first time in 2019 and 5 will exit.
• The average beneficiary will be able to choose among plans offered by 7 firms.
