To Our ME-P Subscribers, iMBA Inc., Clients and Friends
As we look forward to sharing the holidays with family and friends, we also remember those less fortunate.
And, as has been our practice in recent years, rather than sending holiday greeting cards, the iMBA Inc will provide support to several charities dedicated to helping those in need.
We hope this gesture provides happier holidays for others and serves to express our gratitude to you, in the spirit of the season, for your continued support and loyalty to this ME-P.
Happy New Year 2020
We also extend our hope that the New Year 2020 brings you and your loved ones good health, happiness and a world that comes to know peace and understanding.

“All I Want For Christmas: Seven Things I Wish My EMR Could Do”
By HANS DUVEFELT MD
Dear Santa,
I’ve been a very good doctor all year. I have checked all my boxes and aced all my Meaningful Use requirements. This year, I’m not asking you for anything fancy. I just thought you might be able to instill some kindness and good will into the people who designed the user interface of my EMR. Maybe, with your help, they would come to see how a few minor tweaks could make the practice of medicine safer and more efficient, and my day a lot more enjoyable than it already is:

Medicine does not take off for Xmas; Neither do docs
Whether it’s delivering the first baby of the New Year or attending to an accident victim, for some medical professionals Christmas and New Year’s Day are just another day in the office.
Across the country this year, thousands of health care professionals will either be staffing local health care facilities or be on-call for emergencies during the December holiday season.
Unfortunately, accidents and illnesses don’t take a day off. For example, one report indicates heart-related deaths increase by five percent during the holiday season with fatal heart attacks peaking on Christmas, the day after Christmas, and New Year’s Day.
