Some time ago, a CPA, CFP® and fellow Certified Medical Planner™ suggested that we hold annual meetings, or education seminars, for all our colleagues. As a nascent organization at the time, this was considered a “pipe dream.” But, it may now become a reality, depending on your response. All stakeholders are welcomed.
The Cruise
Currently, we are soliciting interest in a – Princess – Caribbean cruise [Southern] for 2010 and 2011. This would afford us the opportunity to meet some of you on both a formal or informal basis. Educational activities would then be scheduled as-needed, or requested. Departure is from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. All info subject to change without notice, at this time.

For example, activities could be arranged for CMP™ program credits in health economics and medical management; or simply on an ad-hoc [audit] informational basis. We will also attempt to individualize and accommodate all personal situations and professional needs. Of course, more details will be posted as they develop. So, stay tuned!

Travel and Cruises
Some practitioners prefer to mix business with pleasure, and they tell us they get some great tax breaks as well (see your CPA for tax advice).
If that sounds like you, we can meet you nearly anywhere in the world. For example, we have informally met private medical practitioners in England, Belgium and Germany, Finland and Switzerland, and France.
The only real difference between this program and our more traditional on-site program is that you will get to see your faculty and you’ll have some additional travel costs, but you’ll probably get some additional tax breaks and have more fun, too!
And, we can partner with financial services corporations, hospitals and medical associations to provide special offers to doctors, FAs colleageus, customers and members.
